I love the fact that I can work anytime I choose. If I have an idea at 11pm on a Saturday night and I want to get started on it right away, I can simply walk to my home office instead of getting dressed and driving into a corporate office somewhere. It's great!

Michelle, I hear you! Two of the best freedoms that I enjoy are 1. Staying at home with my daughter 2. Having the ultimate freedom to choose exactly what skills I want to learn and applying them in my business.

Hi Michelle,

Yes, the freedom to select the kind of clients that fit with your skills and services is certainly a bonus! I also appreciate the value of "flexible hours as well. Thanks for your insights!

I have been working from home for about 10 years but have been completely self employeed for just the last three. I find that being able to decide who I want as a client and how many ours I will work is the main difference and that relieves a lot of stress. I don't have to take on any work that doesn't fit in with my niche (Internet Marketing). I can't think of a better way for a stay at home mom to make great money from home.

Wow - I didn't realize you were in Thailand. I'd love to work from home even if not in Thailand. I started a small Virtual Assistant business (part time while working for "the man") recently and this has got me motivated!
