A Virtual Assistant Case Study

I want to share a case study with you that clearly shows the huge value that Virtual Assistants can play in any Internet Business. This particular case study details a woman I hired while working with a mid-sized Internet company a few years ago. She had developed some niche skills in a number of areas such as Affiliate Marketing, Ad Campaign Management as well as Web Analytics Reporting. The company I worked for eventually experienced some significant down-sizing; however, this particular Virtual Assistant’s contract was retained primarily due to her versatility and understanding in these niche areas. Check out the YouTube Video below.

Craig, I appreciate hearing about this case study. I can totally relate to the virtual assistant you speak about as I come from a very comparable background. Working as a traditional administrative assistant for about 13 years before starting my virtual business has surly geared me up to become a successful entrepreneur. Every sigle role I held in the corporate world plays a key part in my business today. In fact, supporting 2 directors who both had about 12 team managers and at least 200 customer service reps reporting directly to them for 6 years has strengthened my interpersonal skills. Now, as an entrepreneur I have the confidence and initiative I need to keep myself a head of the game.

Thanks for your thoughts Frances! I think there are a lot of administrators in the corporate world that have all the right skills to make the shift to Virtual Assistance type work, but I think it is sometimes the “fear of the unknown” that stops them from making a much needed move!

Since I left the corporate world 5 years ago, I can honestly say I have never looked back!
